too funny that you posted this on my birthday..... the day my mom gave me a waffle maker as a gift. I have one that the kids use (NOT gluten free) but did not have one that I cold make GF waffles in for ME! Too bad I don't eat peanut butter. Do you have any other go-to waffle recipes?

Awesome! Agree with Crystal that skillets are the best for these. If you've got less time they're also very tasty when put into a toastie maker with cheddar inside them - quick and very yum.

Hej. Swedish chef on the muppets is great! Birdi birdi smirdi…funny thing is I resemble that remark…I am a Swedish chef. Grew up devoring something very much like Ebelskivers, Plättar – thin and round little pancakes. They’re made in a similar looking pan, but with a flat bottom and made out of cast-iron. Served with home-made jam and whipped cream, plättar are pure heaven. Now I have to try the danish version, with a chocolate filling. Sounds yum.

Thanks for making them gluten–free.

Anna

Forgot to say birdis birdi smidi means Smaklig Måltid ~ Bon Appetit!

Just got to downloading this episode and the link for direct downloads is wrong. After looking at it for a few seconds, it popped out at me. It's 2012 now, not 2011. ;-) So I was able to snag it, but you might want to fix the length. Looking forward to listening!

I think your blog is informative. It helps us to learn how to stay gluten free and avoid such dangers it may pose for those who are gluten intolerant. using this tips for holidays would help us enjoy it and at the same time maintain safety.
