I looove Trader Joe's rice pasta and go through at least three bags a month.

I had already been considering joining Amazon Prime and if that can be combined with Subscribe & Save I will definitely do both.

Just got around to listening to your latest podcast. I was particularly interested in the gluten free menu, and then charging an additional fee above that. IMO, if a restaurant is going to have a gluten free menu, the prices on it should stand - there shouldn't be any additional fees!

OARN - every Tuesday night, a group of friends and I go to Mazzio's, a fast-food type pizza joint. After going gluten-free, I just ate salad or picked toppings off of pizzas. Lately, I've been taking in my own pizza crusts and asking them to make me a pizza on it. I still pay regular price for a mini pizza, but it's a pizza and crust I can eat. I've found Barkat white rice pizza crusts to be the best so far.

I've also taken my own pre-made pancake/waffle mix in to a greasy spoon diner that we frequent a lot. They were very confused when I asked them to make me a waffle using my own mix, but when I explained the problem they were happy to accommodate me. Sometimes they charge me full price for a waffle, and sometimes they just charge me a dollar. Either way I'm happy that I can eat a regular meal with my friends when we go out.

Hey Maureen,
We've used the Trader Joe's GF pasta recently for the first time in an italian spaghetti-like dish. We actually made our own italian sausage with ground pork and italian sausage seasoning from Penzey's Spices (all their stuff is GF except for their soup bases). Anyway, we combined it with the Ancient Harvest Quinoa pasta because we were making a lot of it so I could have lunches for work and the Quinoa stuff holds up really well. I was highly impressed with the Trader Joe's pasta. It held up relatively well and tasted no different to me than the Tinkyada pasta we like so well. So I will definitely be buying it again!!
