Thanks for another entertaining podcast. I love getting my g-f info hit at work!

I wanted to recommend a place for gluten free beer buying in Philadelphia. Maybe you've already shopped there, but if not, The Foodery in Northern Liberties stocks a pretty impressive array of g-f beers and ciders. It's not the kind of place you can buy beer by the case, but they do let you mix and match individual bottles so it's great for taste testing.
http://www.fooderybeer.com/loc.html
It's also a paradise for non-celiacs who are into really obscure, delicious brews.

I'm glad that the the pleasure of real, good food has returned to your life. I've been g-f for a year now and early on another g-f friend gave me the best advice: Don't try to reinvent the wheel! The most delicious gluten free food is the food that has *always* been gluten free. So True. I've rarely felt deprived (with the occaisional exception of eating out or having to travel, of course).

Hey, Maureen! For my gluten-intolerant cousin's baby shower I was throwing for her, I found great gluten-free cake mix at Whole Foods (their own brand). I used Pamela's confetti icing mix that was also gluten-free there. Was a big hit with the gluten eaters and my very pregnant gluten-free cousin!

Just thought you and your listeners may need a recommendation for good cake mix.
