I bought these and they're sitting in my freezer just waiting for a day when I've lost 5 pounds and can treat myself. I may be waiting awhile. : )

I tried these cookies, too. I wasn't very thilled with them, though. I thought they were a bit on the boring side. Your idea to smash up reese's peanut butter cups is fabulous! I ended up eating maybe one or two then threw them away. After hearing how bad for you they are, I am glad I did!

I love your blog, by the way!

LOL! That's how I gained 3 pounds while in California this year. I was so good as far as healthy eating, but then stopped in Trader Joe's. Our local TJ's doesn't carrie these, so of course I had to buy them. I cooked them in my toaster oven in my hotel room. They are good!

Love the blog/website. Need to pass it on to a friend who just found out she was allergic to gluten. Life changed when she found that out, but is doing better now that she knows how to eat, what to put on her skin, etc.
Good luck! Maybe I will catch you on twitter!

That was 200 calories and 12g fat per cookie minus the peanut butter cups and extra chocolate chips you added. Oops, should I have not mentioned this?! Cookies that good have to be worth running the extra mile on the treadmill - right?

Ha ha! Been there! That's one of the reasons I've been sticking to cobblers to satisfy my sweet tooth. Sure, there's a little sugar on top, but I make deep dish cobblers that are mostly fruit.

Sugar was like a drug in my pre-gluten-free days. I was truly addicted. Not so much now.

Step away from the cookies! Wrap them individually before freezing and ration them out. You can beat this!

The same thing recently happened to me when a friend bought me the GF Foods By George brownies. I think I had three hefty-sized brownies in about 20 minutes. It was probably nearly as many calories as your cookies, but so darn good. We suffer enough with bland gf foods that the occasional splurge shouldn't be too bad!
